FUTUREPUMP: A SOLAR SOLUTION FOR AGRICULTURAL IRRIGATION

In Kigali, Rwanda, on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, the international company Futurepump officially unveiled an irrigation machine designed to help farmers increase their yields and mitigate the effects of drought.

It is the right time, when the forum brings together industry leaders, innovators, investors and stakeholders to explore how digital solutions and renewable energy technologies can strengthen businesses and serve communities underserved by conventional electricity grids.

During the main event held at the Kigali Convention Centre (KCC), Sales Executive of Futurepomp, Don Scott highlighted that this new, technologically advanced machine is easy for small-scale farmers to operate and comes with a long-term warranty, provided it is used correctly.

According to Don Scott, a commercial executive, “this equipment, launched in Kigali, is easy for anyone—from children to adults—to operate.

He added that “all Africans, and Rwandans in particular, can have confidence in these products, as they are affordable and environmentally friendly.”

The availability of tools and spare parts—along with warranties of up to ten years, depending on the model—further enhances their appeal.

One visitor to the FUTUREPUMP stand remarked that “FUTUREPUMP products are well-suited to today’s world, especially when it comes to protecting the environment.”

With a presence in Africa, Asia, and Europe, the company leverages international distribution networks.

Futurepump thus offers a modern, economical, and ecological solution, capable of improving access to irrigation and supporting the productivity of smallholder farmers.

Its goal is to facilitate crop irrigation while reducing reliance on diesel and gasoline.
